Mai Shiranui Worn Out

Another SNK character piece. This time it's Mai Shiranui. I had a hard time with this piece. I must have done like 4-5 takes on it. Even though I had a layout it just didn't look as good as the layout I did. I tried to do something different with this one. There are plenty of Mai drawings and poses on the net. I wanted to capture her maybe after a fight or on a hot sunny day. Who knows. I'll let you guys think about that one. I used a regular mechanical 0.5 HB lead pencil but this time I used something different to ink her. I picked up a masterpiece marker ebony color. It does a pretty good job and it's a double ended marker. I get about the same result as I do with micron pens.
